The Annies bowling team recently had their end-of-the-year banquet. Sabre Schriefer (senior) received the MVP award, Aslyn Amason (freshman) received the Most Improved award and Madilyn Seals (sophomore) received the Golden Annie award.

Effingham High School will be hosting the 3A Boys Basketball Regionals. The Orphans will play on Wednesday, February 26th at 6:00 PM. Doors will open to the public at 5:00 PM. Handicap parking should enter the parking lot from US Hwy 40 on southwest side of the school (see map).

The Annies Track meet scheduled for Friday, February 21st at Principia College has been cancelled.
The South 7 Freshman Basketball Tournament games scheduled for Wednesday, February 19th in Carbondale will now be played in Carbondale on Saturday, February 22nd. The Freshman Orphans will play Carbondale at 10:00 am in the 3rd place game.

The underclass boys basketball games tomorrow, Monday, February 17th at Breese Central, have been moved up to 4:45 PM freshman start and approximately 6:00 PM sophomore start.

The Annies basketball team has been assigned to the IHSA 3A Triad Regional. The Annies will open play on Monday, February 17th at 7:30 pm vs Effingham. The championship game will be played on Thursday, February 20th at 6:30 pm. Admission is $7.00. Go Annies!!
