Due to COVID-19 positive cases, the Centralia Orphan upcoming Varsity/JV contests with Cahokia on December 17 and Marion on December 21 have been postponed with make-up dates not yet determined. The next game for the Orphans will be in the first round of the Centralia Holiday Tournament on Tuesday, December 28.
Orphans and Annies Bowling scheduled for today, December 13th, vs Carbondale has been canceled. No make up date has been set at this time.
Our freshman boys basketball game tomorrow, December 9th, in the CHS Annex will be an A game only.
The Annies basketball game scheduled for Thursday, December 9th at Cahokia will now be a Varsity only contest starting at 6:00 pm.
The 78th Annual Centralia Holiday Tournament bracket is ready! Games will be played on December 28, 29, and 30, 2021.
The Annies basketball game that was canceled vs Herrin will be rescheduled for January 8th starting at 11:00 am at Trout Arena. This will be a JV and Varsity contest .

The Monken Half-time Shootout was held at the Annie’s varsity game. Marvin Myers was the winner of $20 on his lunch card. CHS students have seven more chances to win at a home Annie’s game this season. Thank you Monken Auto for sponsoring this contest for our students!

The Annie's doubles team of Marie Mann and Ali Kessler won their first match this morning at the State Tournament over Triad's Saffel and Burton in 3 sets. In the Annie's second match they were defeated by Jodoin and Garcia of St. Viator High School in 2 sets. Mann and Kessler will continue tournament play this afternoon.
After an exciting 1-0 victory over Marion last night, the Orphan Soccer Team will take on Mascoutah in Mascoutah on Saturday, October 23rd at 3 pm for the Regional Championship.
