The National Honor Society will be dropping off bags on the front doors of Centralia homes on the weekend of March 18th in hope that you will donate to our food drive. We will be back on March 26th from 9-12 to pick up the bags with your donations. If you would not like to leave donations in the bag but would still like to donate, you can bring food/checks to Centralia High School from 9-12 on the 26th.
Yesterday, Centralia BPW President Carrie Perkins-Schnicker visited the Women’s History class to talk about Equal Pay Day and give them some tools and options to help explore different opportunities available to them.
Congratulations to the Scholar Bowl team on their 4th place finish at Conference. Connor Lorrence placed 8th on the All-Conference team and John Veller placed 6th on the All-Conference team.

Congratulations to Quaid Morgan on earning his welding certification through the American Welding Society. Quaid is the first student in 14 years to pass the test on the first try, so this is quite the accomplishment!

Big 3 Precision Products is currently looking for applicants for their 2nd shift, working from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the potential to move to full-time upon graduation. ATTN Orphan Fans- The athletic office will be open at 5:00 PM today If you need help purchasing tickets for the game on Tuesday in Highland. As a reminder, you must use the GoFan App or use this link- https://gofan.co/app/school/IL24030 to purchase your tickets. You must ALSO have a device (phone or tablet) to show your tickets at the door in order to get into the game.
If you do not have a device to use to show proof of a ticket, we can purchase the ticket for you and help you get into the game. There will also be an employee from Highland at the door in case people show up without a ticket and without a device. The only risk going that route is if the game would sell out. If you pre-pay you are guaranteed a ticket to the game.
Please call the athletic office at CHS (618) 532-7636 if you have questions on how the process works, or if you need assistance in getting a ticket.
If you are interested in riding a fan bus for Tuesday please let Gina know in the athletic office. If we have enough interest we can make that happen.
Also please note- This is the ticket process all schools have to now use after regional play based on IHSA policy. The schools hosting or playing in the event do not have a say in how this is handled.

Attn Orphan Fans-
There will not be Highland Sectional ticket sales at CHS as previously announced. Per the IHSA -Highland HS must use the GoFan app to distribute tickets and will not have tickets available at the door. All tickets are general admission so it will be first come first served when you arrive at Highland. However there will be a designated seating section for CHS students ,as well as, all the rest of our great fans.

Reserved seat tickets for the Centralia Waterloo and the Herrin Mt. Vernon games will be sold to the public on Wednesday, February 23rd from 8 am-3 pm in front of the Centralia High School athletic office. All seats are $5. Remaining tickets will be sold beginning at 5:15 pm in the ticket booth.
The Annies Basketball team will play Mattoon at Herrin for the Regional Championship on Friday, February 18th at 7:00 pm. The three point shootout will begin at 5:30 pm. Admission is $5.00. Go Annies!!

The CHS Choir was excited to work with Professor Kellie Clark from Eastern Illinois University yesterday. The Choir is preparing for an upcoming festival at McKendree University!
