Jostens will be on the campus of CHS Monday, May 9th during lunch hours to pass out caps and gowns. All unpaid balances are due on Monday in order for the cap and gown to be released. Balances can be paid by cash or check.

The baseball Varsity & JV games vs Carlyle for Saturday, May 7th are cancelled. We will make them up in Centralia on Tuesday, May 17th at 4:00pm. Varsity start with JV 5 inning games to follow.

Tuesday, May 10th, home vs. Mt. Vernon JV & Varsity at 4:30p.m.
Wednesday, May 11th, Varsity home vs. Cahokia 4:30p.m.

Thursday, May 12th, JV & Varsity home vs. Althoff.
Friday, May 13th, JV only home vs. Okawville. (Varsity game is cancelled)

The senior Health Occ students had fun performing surgery in the VR lab.
Junior Health Occ students had fun in the zspace and VR lab reviewing the circulatory system.
The Annies softball team will make up their rainout with Mt Vernon on Tuesday, May 10th at Rotary Park. Game time will begin at 4:30 p.m.

Calling all Class of 2022 graduates, parents, and friends. The robotics team is selling these Class of 2022 vacuum insulated mugs/tumblers as a fundraiser. There are three different tumblers and three different designs to choose from. Each mug will be laser engraved by one of our students in the robotics lab. All order forms along with cash or check must be turned in to the front office or to Mr. Holzer in room 2035 by May 9th. Don't miss this chance to commemorate your senior year at CHS.
The tennis match at Belleville East next Wednesday, May 11th is cancelled and will not be made up. A home match has been added for Thursday, May 12th at 4:00 p.m. vs Newton.
The National Honor Society Class of 2022 and the newly inducted NHS Class of 2023.
CHS Choir performed this past Saturday for the “Music in the Parks” Festival in St. Louis. They received a rating of Excellent with a score of 88.5 from the judges and spent the remainder of the day at Six Flags. Sunday, they spent the morning at the Saint Louis Zoo & closed the weekend with a performance of Hamilton at the Fabulous Fox Theatre!
Students from the Illinois History class recently attended the Franklin County Historic Jail Museum and Garage Museum.
