
CHS Class of 2020 Alumni, Natalie Aarons, spent her day talking to Mrs. Burmester's Career classes about her experience at SEMO. She encouraged students to do research on your school choices and explore all degree options. Natalie encouraged students to get involved and make the most of their college experience as well as stay focused on their studies. The students had the opportunity to ask questions as well as learn more about SEMO and what it has to offer.


The Art Club enjoyed a pyramid of popcorn and a movie after school for their Christmas party. If you look really close, you might spot Santa in one of these pictures!



Orphan Fans, let's pack the house tonight for the Boys Basketball BlackOut Game!


The Orphan bowling team was scheduled to bowl on December 17th in the O'Fallon tournament. That tournament has been rescheduled for January 7th with an 8 am start time.
The Orphan and Annie bowling teams have also added a match on January 10th vs Salem at the Salem Bowl. The start time for this match is 3:30 pm.

The Annie's game scheduled for Thursday vs. Althoff will now be a varsity only contest. The start time is 6:30 PM.

The Annies Basketball game vs. Herrin has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 11th at Herrin. The game starts at 6:15 pm.

The Annies basketball game for tonight at Herrin has been postponed due to illness on the Herrin team. No make up date has been set at this time.

Child Care students helped Central City pre-k students celebrate Thanksgiving by making graham gobblers!

CHS Interior Design class created a fall theme window display by using the elements and principles of design. They mod-podged real leaves to preserve them and incorporated them in their tree design. Great job, Interior Design students!

Students in Marketing class researched failed or failing companies. They had to talk about why the business failed and what it could have done differently. Students then decorated gravestones for their businesses.

Business and Technology classes were assigned the task of creating their own business as part of a Shark Tank project. These students shared their business, Bakery Bites, with the class.
