Centralia High School is seeking applications for a full-time paraprofessional (full benefits included) at the CHS Annex. Candidates must have ISBE Paraprofessional/Licensure Certification. Letters of application should be submitted to Mr. Travis Cameron, Annex Principal, at Centralia High School, 2100 E. Calumet, Centralia, IL 62801. Please apply immediately as interviews may begin prior to the deadline. The deadline for applications is September 10, 2025.

Ticket Prices (Cash Only):
Adults: $5
Students: $2
Tickets will also be sold at Salem High School – Jim Finks Field beginning at 5:30 PM on game day.

Pre-purchased ticket holders will be able to enter the stadium through a designated entrance, allowing them to bypass the ticket booth line.

The Annies Volleyball team will participate in the MICDS Brace for Impact Tournament this weekend. They will open play on Friday, August 29th vs Clayton at 5 pm and St. Pius at 7 pm. The address to this event is:

Students in Mrs. Berry's and Mrs. Griffin's chemistry and general science classes spent the week covering lab safety. The week ended with a hands-on demonstration of the emergency showers to highlight the importance of proper safety procedures.

Picture Day is scheduled for Tuesday, September 2nd, for Freshmen through Juniors only. Senior portraits will be taken at a later date, and more information will be shared once those details are finalized.

The Cross Country team has added the Carterville Invite on Saturday, August 30th to their schedule. The girls race will begin at 9:00 am and the boys race will follow. The event will be held on the Carterville High School campus.
The Annies Tennis match scheduled for September 15th vs O'Fallon has been moved to September 11th with a 4:00 pm start time.

There have been several changes to the Annies Golf Schedule. The South 7 Preview will now be on Monday, August 25th at Green Hills Golf Club and will start at 3:00 pm. Also that day the Annies JV will travel to Breese Central with a 4:00 pm start time. The Annies have also added a JV match at home vs Nashville on Tuesday, August 26th and
