What an amazing afternoon yesterday was in Cross Country land! The Annie’s are the Conference Champions for a second straight year! Aurora Amason lead the charge for the Annie’s finishing in Second Place followed closely by Gracie Morgan in 3rd place. Reagan Cross, Alli Lammers, and Layna Mannino were 8th, 9th, and 10th….all earning All-Conference Honors as well! On the JV side, Ryleigh Claybourn won the girls' division followed closely by Adaleigh Donoho and Sophia Mayer! On the JV boys' side, Caden Lamb was 3rd, and Landon Rau was 6th. All of this is just further proof that Cross Country is AWESOME, and so are you! Congratulations Orphans and Annies!

The Annies Tennis Sectional that was originally slated to start at 1:00 pm this Friday, October 13th, will now start at 10:00 AM due to the expected weather forecast. The Sectional will be hosted by Carbondale High School with the courts being on campus.

The Freshman Football game at Mt. Vernon scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, October 12th, is cancelled. We will instead play a Freshman Football game at home vs. Mater Dei at 6:00 pm.

The Centralia High School cross country team has been assigned to the IHSA 2A Highland regional. This event will be held at the Alhambra Fireman and Legion Park on Saturday, October 21st with the Annies race starting at 9:00 AM and the Orphans race starting at 10:00 AM.
The Annies tennis team has been assigned to the IHSA 1A Carbondale Sectional. Play will begin on Friday, October 13th at 1:00 pm and resume on Saturday, October 14th at 10:00 am. The courts are located on the campus of Carbondale Community High School.
