Absentee/Retake Day Picture Day is: Tuesday, December 5, 2023
Wagner Portrait Group will be at school to photograph any students who were absent on the initial picture day or any student that needs his/her picture retaken. Please use this link to order: https://wagner.portraitpics.co/login If you are having a picture taken as a RETAKE, please make sure your student returns their package in its entirety, including the package insert sheet, to the photographer on retake day. (Feel free to attach a note to describe what you’d like us to do differently.)

Centralia High School is seeking applications for a full-time paraprofessional (full benefits included) at the CHS Annex. Candidates must have ISBE Paraprofessional/Licensure Certification. Letters of application should be submitted to Mr. Travis Cameron, Annex Principal, at Centralia High School, 2100 E. Calumet, Centralia, IL 62801. Please apply immediately as interviews may begin prior to the deadline. The deadline for applications is December 8, 2023.

The junior health occ students had fun exploring the respiratory system in the zspace lab today.

The Red Death Varsity Scholar Bowl team had a 2nd place finish at the 3rd Marion High School Invitational Scholastic Tournament. As a team, they took home a second place trophy; as individuals, John Veller was awarded all-conference team and MVP with 25 individual toss-ups. Tell Me the Brand-Thanksgiving Style
Business and Technology students represented a well-known brand by designing a turkey without directly including the logo or name. Students learned the importance of brand recognition.
