The Orphan tennis match scheduled for today, Wednesday, April 3rd, is cancelled and will be made up on Wednesday, April 17th.
The Orphan tennis match that was cancelled on March 25th vs Herrin will be made up on Monday, April 22nd at 4:00 pm.

Thursday, April 4th: the home JV/V baseball games against Central have been cancelled and the Orphans will instead play Varsity only vs. Cisne at Sprehe Field at 4:30 pm.

Thank you CHS for all your help in this year’s CAN-tastic Food Drive. Along with community donations and food drives, National Honor Society collected over 2,600 food items and $6,720.00! The CCBA and Salvation Army appreciate your donations. Congratulations to Mrs. Harlan's class for contributing the most items and winning the CAN-ly Cup.
CHS was lucky to have such amazing basketball players this year. Congratulations to all of these deserving young men and women!
Monday, April 8 has been changed to a Teacher Institute Day due to the Solar Eclipse occurring that day. No students or staff will be present at school that day and offices will be closed. Friday, May 24 will now be the last student attendance day and final exam.
UPDATE: Due to Carbondale's field not drying out, baseball will not play today. The baseball team will go to Carbondale for JV & Varsity on Thursday, March 28th, as originally scheduled. Today's JV/Varsity games will be made up on Tuesday, April 16th.
