The Cross Country team has added the Carterville Invite on Saturday, August 30th to their schedule. The girls race will begin at 9:00 am and the boys race will follow. The event will be held on the Carterville High School campus.

There have been several changes to the Annies Golf Schedule. The South 7 Preview will now be on Monday, August 25th at Green Hills Golf Club and will start at 3:00 pm. The Annies JV Golf match vs Nashville scheduled for today, Tuesday, August 19th, has been postponed to next Tuesday, August 26th with a 4:00 pm start time.

Centralia High School is seeking applications for individual classroom aide. Candidates must have ISBE Paraprofessional/Licensure Certification or equivalent certification. Letters of application should be submitted to Dr. Reid Shipley, Principal, at Centralia High School, 2100 E. Calumet, Centralia, IL 62801. The deadline for applications is August 12, 2025 and interviews may take place before the deadline.

Centralia High School will have chromebooks available for anyone that does not have access to the internet or needs additional help with Online Pre-Registration on Wednesday, August 6 and Thursday, August 7 from 10am-2pm. ALL students MUST have their Online Pre-Registration completed before they will be allowed to finish their In-Person Registration, receive a schedule, and receive an ID card.
Centralia High School is seeking applications for part-time cafeteria worker. Applicants must pass a background check and be able to obtain a food handler certificate. Applications are available in the main office at the high school and should be returned to Jason Pauley, Cafeteria Manager, at Centralia High School, 2100 E. Calumet, Centralia. The deadline for applications is July 29th and interviews may take place before the deadline.
Due to continued maintenance with the solar panels, the power at CHS will be temporarily shut off Tuesday afternoon. The Centralia High School offices will close at 12:00/Noon on Tuesday, July 15.
