Child Care students had a great morning at KC Children’s Learning Center!
Results from the IDEA State Drafting Competition on Saturday April 11th. Our students competed against top talent from across the state, representing both large and small schools, and once again demonstrated the strength of Centralia’s drafting program.
Congratulations to the following students for their impressive performances:
Mackenzie Perez – 3rd Place, Architectural Board
Ethan Huge – 3rd Place, Intro to Board
Caiden Taylor – 3rd Place, Intro to CAD
And continuing a proud tradition of excellence in Machine CAD—where Centralia students have claimed 4 of the last 10 state championships—we are proud to announce our newest state champion:
Aurora Amason – 1st Place, Machine CAD State Champion

Yesterday, some of our business students traveled to the 2026 Lake Land College Business and Computer competition. There were high schools from central and northern IL competing. Centralia High School was definitely represented well by these students! Congratulations to all of them!
