Course Description: Biology 922 is a general biology course taken to
fulfill the high school’s requirement of pass a life science course. Many
aspects of biology are discussed genetics, botany, zoology, microbiology,
cellular biology, molecular biology, physiology, anatomy, ecology. Each topic
is briefly discussed in general terms. Labs are a requirement for Biology 922.
Each student is required to take part in labs and dissections.
Course Goals: The
goal of this course is to expose each student to a wide variety of topics within
the field of biology. In doing so, students should understand the basic units
of life, characteristics of all organisms, and how all organisms interact and
